Virtual Showroom vs. Traditional Showroom:
The Right Tool
for the Job
AURORA's new home on
the web is auroradesigns
nj.com. "With computers
a part of our everyday life, most people start their shopping process
online," says Kelley. "We wanted to give people a place to
view our work, see what was possible, and get ideas. Plus, it's open 24
hours a day, every day."
While a virtual
showroom is great, AURORA wanted to provide its clients a physical
showroom as well. Visiting a showroom is extremely helpful for seeing,
touching, and feeling the products. There are a lot of decisions to be
made about cabinetry and hardware styles, tile and countertop options,
fixtures and lighting. "The showroom also gives prospective
clients a chance to meet us in person and discuss what's
possible," Kolbe remarks. "We keep the showroom by
appointment so that we can ensure everyone receives the personalized
attention they
deserve."
"Most often people
ask questions about what the project will look like and how much it
will cost," observes Kolbe. "These things are certainly
important, but what is even more critical is finding someone to work
with that they can trust." While there may be variations in cost
between firms, variations in service can end up costing you much more
not only in dollars, but also in frustration and time. Regarding
AURORA's cost effectiveness, Tami G. of Hillsborough said,
"[Aurora] worked
really hard to help me put together a great house without spending any
more money than I had to. They put a lot of effort into figuring
out just what I should spend my money on to get the best results."
